Michter’s US *1 Kentucky Rye is made from select American rye grain, of which is sheared to maximise the extraction of flavour from the grain. Every bottle comes from a single fire-charred, new American white oak barrel, ensuring the highest quality from every limited batch. Ideal in neat or in cocktails, this rye has notes of citrus, butterscotch and oak.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Warm amber with copper-gold highlights and a hint of mahogany depth.
Nose
Menthol coolness mingles with dark chocolate and spicy rye bread dough, lifted by charred oak and a whisper of aromatic spices.
Palate
Mint and chocolate predominate on the palate, with peppery spice, butterscotch, toasted spices and rye bread weaving through.
Finish
A long, cooling finish of spicy oak and charred citrus, with a persistent mint note.
