The Macallan The Archival Series - Folio 6 Single Malt Scotch Whisky
In stock
The "Archival Series" from Macallan is a limited edition release which recreates the old advertising styles of The Macallan during the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s. The sixth release in The Macallan Archival Series, Folio 6 celebrates a wonderfully witty advert, which cleverly featured ‘The Chairman’ as a Scotsman dancing the Highland fling over a pen and brush, the symbols of the advertising team of Holmes and Salaman.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold radiance and a hint of mahogany, a sunlit, luxurious glow.
Nose
Opulent, sherry-kissed bouquet of dried fig and raisin, orange zest and toffee, with lacquered oak and a whisper of almond. Spices—cinnamon and clove—lend warmth, while dark chocolate and espresso deepen the impression. Vintage Macallan elegance, polished and inviting, like a refined drawing-room from a bygone decade.
Palate
Silky and indulgent on the palate, this Macallan unfolds with velvety toffee and praline sweetness over dusky dried fruit—fig, raisin and orange zest. Sherry cask influence brings cocoa, warm spice and a touch of espresso, all wrapped in refined oak. The finish is long and warming, with ember-like spice lingering and a balanced, resonant sweetness.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish unfurls with velvety sherry sweetness—orange zest, fig and dark raisin—woven with warm spice. Cocoa and almond notes linger, carried by fine oak, tapering to a refined, comforting warmth that clings softly and invites the next sip.
