Tasting Notes
Colour
Bright gold with a subtle sunlit amber hue and a pale copper rim.
Nose
Soft peat smoke mingles with orchard fruit—ripe pear and apple—carried on honeyed barley and vanilla oak. Sherry cask notes bring dried fig, raisin and cocoa, while wisps of almond and spice add elegance, finishing with a subtle coastal freshness.
Palate
Silky, lightly peated and gently smoky, this Loch Lomond offers creamy malt, honey and vanilla with a citrus lift. Ripe apple and sultana mingle with toasted oak and a whisper of spice, all carried by a clean, buoyant mouthfeel. The finish lingers with soft peat, warm fruit sweetness and a restrained oak bite.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish where a whisper of peat lingers above a sherried sweetness. Dried fig and plum unfold into dark chocolate and toasted oak, while cinnamon and vanilla threads carry the warmth. The finish remains silky and enduring, fading to a refined, mineral kiss.
