Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, burnished amber with a coppery glow and a dusky mahogany edge.
Nose
Earthy and mossy with a wet-stone glow, lifted by honeysuckle. Green olives and green cooking apples mingle with sweet crabmeat, blanched almonds and orange marmalade.
Palate
Roasted vegetables and carrots mingle with soft leather, giving way to coconut cake drenched in marmalade, with whispers of nutmeg and chocolate shavings.
Finish
A very long finish that lingers with bitter almond liqueur, dried apple slices, damp wood smoke and elderflower cordial.
