Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, rich amber with coppery-gold highlights and a warm mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent and inviting, this opens with honeyed orchard fruit—pear and apple—layered with rich dried fruit: raisin, fig, and plum. Sherry cask influence brings cocoa, toasted almond, and caramel, with vanilla and brown sugar glaze on polished oak. Warming spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—lends depth, finishing in a velvety, nutty warmth.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, the palate unveils layers of dried fruit—raisin and fig—cradled in velvety oak. Sherry influence brings rich sweetness, orange zest, and caramel, while hints of nutmeg and cinnamon add spice, finishing long with cocoa, almond, and a warm, lingering glow.
Finish
Long, refined finish with dried fig and raisin sweetness, edged by milk chocolate and toffee. Orange zest and subtle spice weave through mature oak, delivering a warm, persistent echo that lingers in velvet-soft sweetness.
