Colour
Deep amber-gold with a warm coppery glow.
Nose
Peat smoke floods the nose with medicinal iodine and sea-salt brine, like Islay air over a peat bog. Beneath, vanilla and polished oak add warmth, while whispers of tar, ash and leather lend depth. Bold, coastal, and unmistakably Islay in its aged sophistication.
Palate
Peat smoke and medicinal iodine rise first, carried by a briny coastal zing. Dark fruit—fig and date—soften into rich sherry sweetness, with cocoa, leather and a touch of vanilla. Spicy pepper notes keep it bright, while sea-salt and ash linger through a long, warming finish.
Finish
Long, peat-forward finish with medicinal notes and sea-brine clinging to the tongue; iodine and smoke ebb into warm oak, then a delicate sweetness and coastal spice linger, slowly fading into a quiet, memory-tinged glow.
