Killyloch (silent) Limited Edition Whisky 36 Year Old · 1967 Vintage
Out of stock
Lowlands distillery Killyloch fell silent in 1986 and this special release was produced from the very last six casks available of which yielded just 371 bottles. An extreme collectable and something we expect to do very well in the future as interest grows in these fascinating lost distilleries.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Dense, sun-kissed amber with copper-gold hues and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Elegant sherried aroma with dark raisin and fig at the core, brightened by orange zest. Toasted almond and cocoa mingle with polished oak, while a thread of spice, leather and tobacco adds depth—an quietly refined, aged Lowland perfume.
Palate
Silky and refined, the palate delivers quiet sherried depth: fig and prune sweetness with toffee, cocoa and almond. A citrus lift from orange zest and delicate spice—cinnamon, nutmeg—shape the mid-palate. Soft, integrated oak supports a warm, lingering finish that stays elegant and balanced, a testament to a rare, lost Lowland distillery.
Finish
An elegant, long finish of sherried richness. Dried fig and orange zest unfold against polished oak, with wisps of cocoa and almond. A gentle warmth lingers, layered with subtle spice and a whisper of smoke, fading to a refined, nutty glow that honors the quiet, collectible character of this rare Lowland release.
