Colour

Nose

Opulent sherried nose with dark fruits—prune, fig and raisin—lifted by glaze of cherries and orange zest. Rich cacao, toasted almond and caramel mingle with cinnamon and clove, all perched on toasty oak. A subtle maritime whisper—brine and leather—threads through, finishing with a peppery warmth.

Palate

Opulent and powerful, this 1988 Jura coats the palate with sherried richness and a coastal kiss. Dried fig, date and plum mingle with dark chocolate, toffee and roasted almond, while warm spice—clove, cinnamon—and a briny sea-salt lift weave through the oak. The finish is long and elegant, with walnut, coffee notes and a lingering cask-strength warmth.
