Johnnie Walker Black Label Directors Cut Blade Runner 2049 Blended Scotch Whisky (75cl)
Out of stock
A limited edition bottle of Johnnie Walker to celebrate to launch of the 2017 released Blade Runner 2049 Movie.
The new expression was created by Johnnie Walker master blender Jim Beveridge with the film’s director, Denis Villeneuve, with one eye on how Whiskies of the future might taste. It is a combination of more than 30 single malts and grain whiskies, blended in Black Label style, but with a smokier twist.
Bottled at 49% – a nod to 2049, the year in which the new film is set, which makes it stronger than the standard Black Label.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a touch of mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Smoky and sophisticated, this nose blends peat-laden depth with creamy vanilla and toasted oak. Ripe orchard fruits mingle with toffee and subtle spice, while wisps of ash and char hint at its filmic, Blade Runner-inspired intensity.
Palate
On the palate, a bold, smoky wave leads into rich malt and dark-berry sweetness. Creamy vanilla and toffee drift through, balanced by roasted coffee and cocoa. Spicy black pepper and cinnamon lift the mid-palate, then a velvety texture gives way to a resinous oak, delivering a long ember-bright finish with smoky caramel warmth.
Finish
Long and smoky, with vanilla and caramel giving way to toasted oak. Dried fruit and spice linger as the heat fades, leaving a soft ember and a touch of cocoa on the palate. A cinematic, heat-kissed finish that persists with elegance.
