Distillery Bottling

A much older version of Jefferson's Bourbon which uses whiskies aged from at least 12 years to 18 years. This gives it a much greater depth of flavour and complexity. It is highly recommended.

Tasting Notes

Colour

Rich deep amber with copper-gold highlights, a warm, mahogany-tinged glow suggestive of lengthy oak maturation.

Nose

A warm, honeyed bouquet of toasted pine nuts and marzipan, woven with honeycomb and vanilla fudge; candy-shop aromatics mingle with rose Turkish delight, cocoa powder and a whisper of mint leaf.

Palate

Minty toffee, popping candy, black cherries in syrup, chocolate and honeycomb on the palate.

Finish

Mint julep and stock syrup fade into a playful echo of pick-and-mix sweets, with crunchie bars and cherries in kirsch; a very moreish, mellow finish that lingers with gentle sweetness, mint, and cocoa whispers.
