Jefferson’s is officially based at Kentucky Artisan Distillery, where its distilling, blending and bottling work takes place. The portfolio includes Jefferson’s Very Small Batch, Jefferson’s Reserve and Jefferson’s Ocean, with the latter becoming one of its most recognisable releases through maturation influenced by movement, changing temperatures and sea air during ocean voyages.

Pernod Ricard acquired Jefferson’s parent company, Castle Brands, in 2019, adding Jefferson’s to its American whiskey portfolio. The brand remains focused on Kentucky bourbon and rye whiskey, with a style built around caramel, vanilla, spice, oak and rounded sweetness, while limited releases, wine finishes and wood experiments continue to be a major part of Jefferson’s identity.
