RAER Pedro Ximénez Expression is created by transferring the distillery’s award-winning blended Scotch into first-fill Pedro Ximénez sherry casks from Jerez for an additional period of maturation at Jackton Distillery. The intensely sweet sherry casks bring considerable richness, dark fruit and dessert-like depth to the smooth RAER blend.
Awarded a Gold Medal at the World Whiskies Awards in 2023, this is the richest of RAER’s sherry-led blended expressions. Layers of dried fruit, marzipan, honey and caramelised sugar are balanced by roasted oak, coffee and a gently bitter edge.
