Only a few feet away from the statue depicted on the Scene #5 bottle, and the cave spring itself, is a building that used to be Jack’s personal office. His old rolltop desk was used for the image on the 6th Scenes from Lynchburg bottle and has been preserved over the years for visitors to see while touring the Distillery.
Following the first bottle’s debut in 2003, a new bottle in the series has been released every year with the exception of 2010. In the United States, these “Scenes” bottles are available in a 750ml size with 86 proof whiskey, and are not sold in a box or with a hang tag. This series can also be found in Europe as 1 litre bottles filled with 86 proof whiskey and in Canada as 750ml bottles filled with 80 proof whiskey.

Vanilla and caramel sweetness waltz with warm toasted oak, a hint of orange zest, and a softly spiced heart. A charcoal-soft, refined finish lends a polished, inviting nose that hints at tradition and craft.
Palate
Silky and inviting, with caramel and vanilla leading over toasted oak. Mid-palate reveals spice—cinnamon and white pepper—alongside creamy toffee and a touch of orange zest. Balanced and smooth throughout, it finishes with warm oak, subtle cocoa, and a lasting caramel sweetness.
Finish
Long, warm and refined, the finish drapes the palate in honeyed vanilla and toasted oak, a kiss of spice and a final, soft ember of char that lingers gracefully.
