A rare bottling of Jack Daniel's that was only ever available in overseas markets and travel retail.
It is said that the founder served whiskey to his closest friends from his own personal fine glass monogrammed decanters. These decanters were reserved for special occasions and it was with this in mind that the Distillery released the 750ml Monogram bottle in 2009. Filled with 94 proof whiskey, this bottle was sold with no hang tag, but came in an attractive silver and black box.
When it was introduced in 2009, the Monogram bottle was a limited release for the state of Tennessee only. However, even though 2009 was the first year this bottle was available in the United States, it was actually released internationally in 1998 and then again in 2004. While these are not considered different generations of this bottle to Jack Daniel's collectors, they are definitely considered different versions.

Colour
Rich amber with warm honey-gold glow and subtle coppery highlights, inviting a glossy, sun-kissed sheen.
Nose
Vanilla-forward with lush caramel, unfolding into toasted oak and a whisper of char. Sweet corn and ripe orchard fruit mingle with maple, citrus zest and a delicate, peppery spice, weaving a warm, well-integrated oak perfume.
Palate
Silky and balanced, the palate carries vanilla bean and caramel sweetness over toasted oak. Underneath, citrus zest and dried apple lend brightness, while cinnamon and clove spice add warmth. A creamy mid-palate reveals hints of toasted almond and coffee-nut notes, finishing with a long, lightly charred oak and rye-spice fade.
Finish
Silky and enduring, the finish releases warm vanilla and caramel that drift into toasted oak, with a touch of spice. The sweetness tapers to a clean, refined glow, leaving a long, luxurious memory on the tongue.
