Jack Daniel's 1905 Gold Medal Tennessee Whiskey (1 Litre) (Unboxed)
Out of stock
Released in 1997
Shortly after his success in St. Louis, Jack chose to once again showcase his whiskey, but this time on an international platform. The World Exposition of 1905 in Liege, Belgium, is where he next entered in competition, and once again judges awarded his Tennessee Whiskey a gold medal.
This bottle commemorates that achievement. Beginning in 1996 and continuing for the next 10 years, the Jack Daniel Distillery released its Gold Medal Series of commemorative bottles.
Comprised of seven unique designs, each bottle in this series celebrates a different gold medal won by the Distillery. In the U.S., the series featured 750ml bottles filled with 90 proof whiskey. International markets offer these bottles only in a 1 liter size, with the exception of the first bottle in the series which was available only in the 750ml size.

Tasting Notes
Colour
A rich, warm amber with sunlit golden copper highlights.
Nose
Rich vanilla and caramel unfold over toasted oak, with brown sugar and orchard fruit lending sweetness. A subtle spice hints at cinnamon, while a whisper of charcoal mellowing adds depth, finishing warm and inviting.
Palate
Silky and medium-to-full on the palate, this Tennessee whiskey unfolds with caramel and vanilla layered over toasted oak and a whisper of toffee. Creamy mouthfeel with subtle spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—balanced by characteristic charcoal mellowing. Warm, persistent finish of oak, honeyed sweetness and a lift of spice.
Finish
Long, warm, and inviting, the finish blooms with vanilla and caramel, tempered by toasted oak. A whisper of rye spice lingers, then softens to a clean, honeyed sweetness that quietly fades.
