Unboxed but complete with certificate of registration.
Released in 1996
The first gold medal awarded to Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey took place in 1904 when Jack entered his whiskey in competition at the World’s Fair in St. Louis, Missouri.
Nearly a century later, in 1996, the Distillery debuted the Gold Medal Series with the 1904 Gold Medal commemorative bottle to recognize this prior achievement. Beginning in 1996 and continuing for the next 10 years, the Jack Daniel Distillery released its Gold Medal Series of commemorative bottles.
Comprised of seven unique designs, each bottle in this series celebrates a different gold medal won by the Distillery. In the U.S., the series featured 750ml bottles filled with 90 proof whiskey. International markets offer these bottles only in a 1 litre size, with the exception of the first bottle in the series which was available only in the 750ml size.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with sun-kissed honey and a whisper of copper, a warm caramel glow.
Nose
Silky vanilla and caramel rise from the glass, coaxing a lush creamy corn sweetness. Toasted oak provides subtle structure with a gentle kiss of char. Orange zest and ripe pear drift in, hinting at vanilla-spice notes. A poised, inviting bouquet that feels warm, refined, and generously sweet on the nose.
Palate
Silky and balanced, the palate unveils vanilla and caramel over gentle toffee, wrapped in toasted oak. Subtle charcoal notes thread through with light spice—black pepper and clove—adding refinement. A touch of citrus brightness lifts the mid-palate, while the finish glides long and warm, leaving almond, vanilla and oak lingering.
Finish
Long, warm and refined, with caramel-vanilla sweetness lingering against toasted oak. A subtle rye spice weaves through a smoky, charcoal-soft finish, tapering into a creamy, velvety fade.
