Nose

Opulent sherry-nurtured nose of dark fruit, fig and raisin, entwined with toffee and cocoa. Cherry and date rise over toasted oak with hints of cinnamon and clove. A marine, saline lift threads through the aromatics, leaving a resinous almond-nut glow.

Palate

Powerful, velvety palate with waxy, sherried sweetness. Dried fig and prune meet dark chocolate, orange zest and treacle, lifted by toasted almond and rich oak spice. The 61.9% ABV fuels a warming, full-bodied mouthfeel, finishing long with cocoa, fruitcake, leather and a peppery, resinous lift.

Finish

Long and warming, this finish carries a sherried richness of dried fruits, fig and dark cherry melting into cocoa and toffee. Toasted oak provides backbone as cinnamon and clove rise in the mid-palate, then recede into a refined, resinous fade that lingers with a luxurious warmth.
