Heaven Hill Parkers Heritage Collection 2012 Bourbon Whiskey 11 Year Old
Out of stock
Each year as part of the Parker's Heritage Collection, Heaven Hill select a special whiskey to be released in the name of their late Master Distiller Parker Beam. The barrels selected for this series include Bourbon, Rye, and Wheat Whiskeys, among others, and are some of the finest and most diverse American Whiskeys ever produced. They are a fitting tribute to the expertise of Parker Beam.
The 6th annual release from Heaven Hill's PHC. This time we see a combination of Rye based (Evan Williams style) and Wheat based (Old Fitzgerald/Larceny) bourbons. Bottled at a punchy 65.8% abv.
The nose is sweet with raisins, caramel, vanilla, cinnamon and ginger. The palate is again a continuation of the aromas with that sweetness and texture oin the palate but a little saharper and drier due to the heat and alcohol from the higher abv. Long and klingering on the finish with a war,ing toastiness. A very harmonious and balanced bourbon.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with rich copper-gold highlights and a hint of mahogany at the edges.
Nose
A luscious bouquet of raisins, caramel and vanilla, lifted by cinnamon and ginger—honeyed, warm, and inviting with a poised sweetness.
Palate
Sweet and syrupy on the palate, with raisin, caramel and vanilla, woven with cinnamon and ginger. The elevated ABV sharpens the edges, lending a drier, keener texture while still balanced. Full-bodied and harmonious, it coats the mouth and finishes long with warming toastiness.
Finish
Long, warming finish with toasty vanilla and spice, drifting from caramel into a gentle ember, leaving a refined, lingering warmth.
