A Glenrothes single malt from the Infrequent Flyers series, this 11 year old was distilled in 2009 and bottled in 2020 after maturation in a combination of American oak and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks. Bottled at 59.1% ABV, the release was limited to 611 bottles.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold glow and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Brown sugar, coconut and Morello cherries intermingle with heavily stewed raisins and sultanas, layered with treacle toffee. A rich, syrupy sweetness lingers on the nose.
Palate
Super-sweet, rich and velvety on the palate, with bold raisin and sultana flavors that recall clootie dumplings. Notes of mocha and cocoa weave through, finished with a subtle cinnamon glow.
Finish
Long and syrupy, the finish coats the palate with raisin and sultana sweetness, a touch of cocoa. Velvety and deceptively smooth, it delivers a warming finale that belies its 59.1% ABV.
