Glenmorangie Pride 1981 is the culmination of 28 years of passion, patience and artistry. The Whisky is presented in a striking Baccarat crystal decanter with a specially designed wooden case which magically opens to present the bottle to the taster. Only 1000 examples of this decanter were produced worldwide and although a slow burner we expect this to become one of Glenmorangie's stand out collectables in the future.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-bronze hues and a honey-gold glow.
Nose
Opulent sherry-kissed aromas rise with dried plums, figs and orange zest, layered with dark cocoa, toffee and almond. Vanilla threads through the mix, while cinnamon and clove spark the edge, all carried on a polished oak and waxy core that hints at decades of patient maturation and the rarity of the Baccarat presentation.
Palate
Sumptuous and velvety on the palate, it unfolds with a viscous richness. Notes of dark chocolate, fig and plum mingle with espresso, orange zest and toasted almond, while refined oak and sherry sweetness weave through the structure. A lasting, lacquered finish brings leather, spice and a whisper of cacao.
Finish
An exceptionally long, velvety finish of sherry-influenced fruit, dark chocolate and orange zest, with toasted almond. Woven with warm oak and spice, it lingers to a refined, contemplative glow.
