Glendullan Rare Malts Selection Single Malt Scotch Whisky 26 Year Old · 1978 Vintage
Out of stock
The pre-cursor to the modern Special Release series from Diageo. A range of predominantly slient distilleries, bottled at at least 18 years old from the 60's, 70's and 80's. This particular bottling from the series is the hard to find Glendullan, 26 year old, distilled in 1978 and bottled at full cask stregth.
Lots of cereal notes on the nose along with toffee, barley and a slight herbal note. The palate is sweet and rich with a creamy fruit salad flavour, that herbal note continues with also some delicate grassiness. The finish is long and warming with honey and sweet, spicy oak to end.
A rare treat of an old Speysider.
