A double gold winner at The World Spirits Competition in San Francisco, this Single Grain Double Barrel Irish Whiskey from Glendalough distillert is aged first in Bourbon Barrels before being finished in Oloroso Sherry Barrels. The resul is a whiskey bursting in smooth honey and vanilla notes before leading to dried fruit and nutty flavours.

Nose

Rich dark fruit, raisins and figs moving to Christmas pudding and floral notes with lemongrass, citrus and nutmeg.

Sweet and smooth on the palate with butterscotch, honey and peppercorn with dried fruit, maraschino cherries and brown sugar.

Finish

Ginger spices and a touch of almond and earthiness.
