A double gold winner at The World Spirits Competition in San Francisco, this Single Grain Double Barrel Irish Whiskey from Glendalough distillert is aged first in Bourbon Barrels before being finished in Oloroso Sherry Barrels. The resul is a whiskey bursting in smooth honey and vanilla notes before leading to dried fruit and nutty flavours.

Colour

Golden amber with warm copper undertones and a luminous honey-gold glow.

Nose

Rich dark fruit, raisins and figs move toward Christmas pudding, unfurling into delicate floral notes with lemongrass, citrus and a warming touch of nutmeg.

Palate

Silky and sweet on the palate, with butterscotch and honey brightened by a whisper of peppercorn. Dried fruits and maraschino cherries mingle with brown sugar, leaving a warm, comforting finish.

Finish

Ginger spices linger with a delicate almond note and a soft earthiness, a warming, nut-kissed finish that invites the next sip.
