A tasty, limited edition 17 year old expression from Glencadam distillery, initially matured in ex-Bourbon casks before being finished in 3 specially selected Portwood hogsheads. The influence of the ex-Bourbon casks is evident here (particularly vanilla and citrus flavours), complimented by a rich, dark fruitiness from the Port casks.

Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm, mahogany-tinged glow.
Nose
Toffee and plum sweetness, softly swathed in vanilla and sumptuous malt.
Palate
Lush sweet malt swirls with plums and prunes, mingling with summer fruits, vanilla and toffee.
Finish
Abundantly porty-sweetness lingers on the palate, weaving dark plum and prune with vanilla-malt warmth before giving way to a bright, spicy finale, where cinnamon, clove and black pepper leave a warming, persistent glow.
