Glencadam Réserve de Sauternes was distilled in 2008 and matured initially in ex-Bourbon American oak casks, before being finished in specially selected Sauternes wine barrels sourced from France. The Sauternes wine barrels perfectly compliment Glencadam Single Malt, adding depth and complexity to the whisky. Limited release of only 3,042 bottles, each individually numbered.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with sunlit honey hues and a soft copper glow.
Nose
Tangy marmalade and poached pear rise from the glass, mingling with acacia honey and peach blossom. Sun-warmed yellow fruits unfold, while a whisper of sandalwood adds refined depth, inviting a bright, orchard-fresh aroma that hints at the Sauternes cask finished elegance.
Palate
On the palate, baked peach and dried mango mingle with manuka honey and chocolate orange, followed by lemon drizzle cake, mandarin sorbet and crème anglaise.
Finish
Apple compote, agave nectar and candied peels entwine with warm baking spices and candied cloves, delivering a long, lingering finish on the palate.
