Glencadam Reserve De Bordeaux Merlot Wine Cask Finish Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

(glen-CADAM) Glencadam was founded in 1825 by George Cooper in Brechin, making it one of the older Highland distilleries still in operation. Its history includes a long period under blending companies rather than as a major single malt name in its own right, with ownership later passing through Hiram Walker and Allied Domecq before the distillery was mothballed in 2000. A new chapter began in 2003, when Angus Dundee Distillers acquired and reopened the site, with the first new production run under its ownership taking place that August.
