Nose
Peated Campbeltown aroma with coastal smoke and sea-salt notes, layered over Ruby Port’s red-fruit sweetness. Ripe cherry and blackberry mingle with fig and raisin, while chocolate hints emerge and vanilla plus toasted oak lend velvety spice. A refined maritime perfume with wine-kissed depth.
Palate
Powerful peat and maritime smoke meet a luxuriously ripe Ruby Port cloak. Rich malt, dark cherry, blackberry and fig mingle with cocoa and toasted oak, while a saline breeze threads through the palate. The port finish adds plush sweetness that lingers, spiced by subtle white pepper and resinous oak, delivering a long, velvety, cask-strength glow.
Finish
Six-month Ruby Port finish threads a lush warmth through the peat. Dark berries, fig and cocoa emerge, brightened by a kiss of smoke and toasted oak. The finish lingers with warm spice and a port-sweet, resinous edge that slowly fades to a mineral, polished conclusion.
