Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a warm copper glow, edged by mahogany at the rim.
Nose
Opulent and dark, the nose unfolds with dried fig, prune, and raisin mingling with orange zest and a glaze of toffee and treacle. Sherry-cask richness threads through polished oak, cocoa, and a whisper of leather, while cinnamon and nutmeg lend a refined spice. A mature, luxurious aroma that promises depth and elegance.
Palate
Opulent and warming, this sherried masterpiece coats the palate with dark fruit, fig, raisin and plum, edged by candied citrus. Rich cocoa and toasted almond mingle with luscious toffee, while cinnamon and clove deliver a spreading spice. At 61% ABV the body is bold yet velvety, finishing with oak, espresso, tobacco and lingering dried-fruit sweetness.
Finish
Long, warming finish with regal sherry overtones. Dark fig and prune mingle with cocoa and toffee, while oak spice lingers and whispers orange zest. A cocoa-dusted warmth slowly fades to a refined, velvety dryness.
