Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depths and a warm copper-gold glow.
Nose
Dark, sherried aromas rise from the glass: prunes, raisins and fig mingle with treacle and toffee. Rich oak, vanilla and a hint of orange zest unfold, dotted with spice and espresso. A quiet, vintage elegance that hints at patience and old cask whispers.
Palate
Silky on the palate with velvety sherry sweetness and a core of dried fruits—prune, fig, raisin—lifted by toasted almond and orange zest. Rich cocoa and coffee notes unfold, threaded with spice from oak—cinnamon and clove—carrying into a long, warming finish marked by leather and nutty nuances.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish unfurls with velvety sherry sweetness that clings like satin. Dried fig, raisin and orange zest mingle with cocoa and restrained spice, while toasted oak lends a subtle tannic lift. The warmth lingers, evolving softly into a refined, almost perfumed dryness that invites another sip.
