Glen Garioch That Boutique-y Whisky Company Batch #4 Single Malt Scotch Whisky 29 Year Old · 1989 Vintage
Out of stock
Glen Garioch (pronounced “glen geery”) was founded all the way back in 1797 in Oldmeldrum, making it one of the oldest Scotch Whisky distilleries around. You will see a nod to this fact in the form of a time machine on the label.
It is surprisingly crisp and fresh for a 29 year old vintage, with some coastal notes, citrus, dark chocolate and spice.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with copper-tinged edges and a sunlit, honeyed glow.
Nose
Bright coastal air and a whisper of salt lift citrus zest—lemon and orange—over a refined spine of aged oak. Subtle dark chocolate unfurls with a spice kiss of clove and cinnamon, delivering a crisp, fresh aroma that belies its 29-year-old maturity.
Palate
Bright and crisp for a 29-year-old, it opens with coastal salt and citrus zest, unfolding into layered citrus with a refined dark chocolate profile. Spices—pepper and clove—rise alongside a delicate sherry influence, finishing long, clean, with a subtle saline, coastal fade.
Finish
Long, crisp finish with coastal brightness and a whisper of citrus zest. Sea-air notes linger with cocoa-dark chocolate and gentle spice, evolving into a dry, peppery fade. A refined warmth remains, leaving a maritime, slightly salinity-kissed finish that lingers with elegance.
