Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold sheen and a subtle mahogany undertone, a warm, sherried glow.
Nose
Warm malt, honey, and orchard fruit lead into a sherry‑rich core of dried fig and raisin, with cocoa, almond, and gentle oak spice. The nose feels polished and generous, hinting at age and cask depth, like a sunlit Speyside library inviting a slow, luxurious sip.
Palate
Full-bodied and richly sherried on the palate, it coats with ripe raisin and fig sweetness, layered over dark chocolate, toffee and honey. Mid-palate spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—builds against polished oak, with a hint of orange zest. Luxuriously smooth, the finish lingers with dried fruit and warm spice.
Finish
Long, elegant and creamy, the finish coats the palate with sherry‑sweet oak, dried fruit and almond notes, then unfurls soft spice and vanilla caramel. A refined, lingering warmth tapers to a delicate, nutty fade that lingers gracefully.
