Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich golden amber with honeyed warmth and a sun-bronze glow.
Nose
Fresh orchard fruit and zesty citrus rise with warm vanilla and creamy toffee from the American oak hogshead. Subtle spice—cinnamon and white pepper—and toasted almond mingle with honeyed notes, while a caramel backbone adds depth. A polished oak finish threads through, leaving an inviting, silky aroma that hints at quiet richness.
Palate
Bold, full-bodied and unfiltered, this Fettercairn delivers vanilla and creamy toffee supported by honeyed oak. Pear and lemon zest lift the fruit sweetness, while white pepper and cinnamon add warmth. Dried fruit, a touch of cocoa and a long, oak-driven finish echo the cask strength richness with a bright, lingering spice.
Finish
Long, warming finish with vanilla-cream and toasted American oak driving the afterglow. Spices unfold—soft clove and white pepper—while citrus rind and honey give a bright lift, then drift into a persistent, silky fade of oak and a whisper of dried fruit.
