Tasting Notes
Colour
Luxuriously deep amber-gold with a coppery sheen and mahogany undertones, a warm, sunlit caramel glow.
Nose
An elegant, deep nose of aged oak and vanilla bean, layered with caramel and maple sweetness. Prune and orange zest unfold with delicate tobacco, cedar and leather, while dark chocolate and espresso lend a subtle bittersweet depth. Spice notes of cinnamon and clove finish with refined, woody elegance.
Palate
Silky and oak-forward, this bourbon coats the palate with vanilla, toffee and caramel, underpinned by toasted oak. Dark fruit notes of fig and raisin mingle with baking spices—cinnamon, nutmeg and a hint of clove. A velvety mouthfeel leads to a long, warm finish of leather, cocoa and cedar, balanced by subtle acidity and a refined, lingering spice.
Finish
An exceptionally long, velvety finish that unfolds with toasted oak, caramelized vanilla, and dark fruit. Cinnamon and clove spice wafts through a glossy, resinous oak backbone, as whispers of leather and espresso linger, leaving a warm, sophisticated echo of time and barrel.
