Elijah Craig Barrel Proof Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Colour

Deep, luminescent amber with copper-bronze reflections and a hint of mahogany at the edges.

Nose

Powerfully aromatic with vanilla and caramel leading, supported by toasted oak and a warm, spicy core. Rich notes of brown sugar, maple, and dark fruit drift through, punctuated by cinnamon and clove, while subtle leather and molasses anchor the bourbon’s bold, barrel-proof aroma.

Palate

Uncut and unapologetic, this Barrel Proof Bourbon floods the palate with molten caramel and vanilla, weaving into dark chocolate and toffee. Rich fruit notes—raisin and plum—emerge with torch-lit spices: cinnamon, clove, and black pepper. Oak and char bind the mid-palate, delivering a warm, long finish of maple, cocoa, and a final kiss of tobacco.

Finish

Long, warming finish of toasted vanilla and caramel, backed by bold charred oak. Cinnamon and clove linger, gradually softening into a dry, resinous oak that slowly fades to a warm, lingering glow on the palate.
