E.H. Taylor Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Out of stock
Colonel Edmund Haynes Taylor, Jr. is widely considered one of the founding fathers of the bourbon industry, fighting for the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, nearly three decades after he purchased what is now called Buffalo Trace Distillery. During his time, Taylor implemented several innovative methods still used today, including climate controlled aging warehouses.
Many of the barrels selected for the E.H. Taylor, Jr. Single Barrel are aged in Warehouse C, which was built by Taylor in 1881 and proven to be an excellent aging warehouse. Each barrel is hand-picked and Bottled in Bond at 100 proof to honor its namesake.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with sunlit copper highlights; a deep, bronze-kissed hue that glows with inviting warmth.
Nose
Rich vanilla and caramel lift from the glass, balanced by toasted oak and baking spices. Zesty orange peel and brown sugar join notes of leather, cedar and a hint of rye pepper, revealing a poised, single-barrel Kentucky bourbon at Bottled-in-Bond strength.
Palate
Full-bodied and velvety, the palate floods with caramel and vanilla, balanced by toasted oak. Rich notes of cinnamon, clove and nutmeg rise with hints of espresso and dried fruit, then linger in a warm, 100-proof glow. A long, polished finish, oak-forward yet elegantly balanced.
Finish
Long, warming finish of toasted oak, caramel and vanilla, brightened by rye spice. Cinnamon and clove linger with a whisper of leather and tobacco, as the warmth slowly fades into a polished, lingering sweetness.
