Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with sunlit honey and coppery undertones.
Nose
Sun-warmed vanilla and orange zest rise from the glass, mingling with toffee, creamy vanilla custard and toasted almond. Bourbon-cask maturation yields gentle spice and polished oak, a caramel sheen and subtle citrus oils that keep the bouquet bright, even at cask strength.
Palate
Opulent and powerful, this cask-strength 21-year-old pours with vanilla, toffee and coconut across a velvety, oily body. Bright orange zest and marmalade lift dried fruit, dark chocolate and toasted almond, while cinnamon and nutmeg spice mingle with sturdy oak. Long, warming finish with citrus, caramel sweetness and a refined peppery bite.
Finish
Long, warming finish of vanilla and toasted oak, with bright citrus zest and subtle spice. Rich caramel lingers, evolving into peppery oak that slowly dries the palate and leaves a refined, persistent glow.
