The Distillers Editions are an annual release of the finest single malts, double-matured in batches using individually prepared casks that have held a specially selected fortified wine, chosen to complement the characteristics of each mature whisky. The result is a range of sublime, deeply flavoured single malt whiskies, very much true to their origins, yet possessing a rich depth, complexity and nuance of flavour.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished gold with coppery amber hues and a warm sherried glow.
Nose
Creamy honeyed malt, orchard fruit and orange zest mingle with a sherried warmth; dried apricot, almond and vanilla threads weave through a silky, waxy sweetness.
Palate
Silky and honeyed on the palate, with a chorus of dried fruit: raisin, fig, date, woven into malt sweetness. A sherry lift adds vanilla, almond and cocoa, wrapped in gentle spice, finishing with orange zest and a refined, lingering dryness.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with fruit and fortified-wine sweetness lingering. Rich notes of fig and raisin, toasted almond, and a kiss of spice weave through velvety oak, fading to warm, comforting notes.
