Colour

Deep coppery-amber with a wine-dark ruby glow and subtle mahogany edges.

Nose

Opulent, wine-soaked nose: blackberry, black cherry and fig mingle with ex-red wine cask influence. Rich vanilla, caramel and toffee unfold alongside toasted oak, cocoa nib and spice—clove and black pepper. A hint of leather adds depth, while the cask-strength warmth lingers invitingly.

Palate

Opulent, full-bodied palate with a viscous mouthfeel and bold cask-strength warmth. Red-wine barrique delivers black cherry, blackberry and plum, with currant and dried fig. Spices—clove, cinnamon, nutmeg—rise with espresso, dark chocolate and toasted oak. Tannins are present but polished; the finish is long, warming, wine-kissed and lingering with spice.

Finish

Wine-driven, long finish of dark red fruit—blackberry, plum and raspberry—soft oak, cocoa and spice. The STR red wine cask influence adds warm tannins and a pepper-kissed heat that lingers, fading to a velvety sweetness.
