These premium American oak barrels are ideal for ageing Whisky, and impart delicious notes of vanilla and honey. Vanilla and honey rise on a warm nose, with sweet malt and a bourbon-induced fruitiness. Subtle oak, caramel and spice add depth, hinting at a bold, barrel-driven character.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, the palate unveils a creamy, malt-forward core bathed in vanilla and honey. Orchard-fruit sweetness leans into toffee and caramel, while subtle spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—drifts through toasted American oak. At cask strength, it delivers a warm, velvety bite and a long, lingering finish of fruit, toffee, and oak.
Finish
Long, warming finish of vanilla and honey with a malty sweetness that lingers. Rich oak spice carries through, leaving a creamy, subtly drying fade that echoes the bourbon influence and the distillery’s character.
