Following on from 2017's Collectivium XXVIII comes Cladnach, this years super premium blended malt.
Containing whisky from Diageo's coastal distilleries (Talisker, Clynelish, Lagavulin, Oban, Inchgower and Caol Ila) this is a masterclass in the art of blending.
Using a multitude of casks, ex - Bourbon, ex American and European refill casks and sherry casks this packs a punch. The nose is rich, fruity and smokey with dark toffee and orange aromas. The palate has many layers to it, again combining sweetness, spice and smokey briney qualities. A dry finish with hints of bonfire and toffee apples.

Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a warm, honeyed glow, hinting at sherry influence.

Rich, fruity and smokey on the nose, with dark toffee and orange aromas.
Palate
Layered and vibrant, the palate combines sweetness with spice and a smoky, briny edge from coastal malts. Rich toffee and orange zest unfold, framed by peppery notes and sea-salt hints. The finish is dry, with bonfire embers and lingering toffee apples.

A dry finish that lingers with bonfire embers and toffee apples, leaving a subtle sweetness and a gentle, smoky warmth.
