Palate
Peat smoke and maritime brine lead the palate, crisp salt edging the mouth. Rich sherry sweetness emerges with dried plum and fig, crowned by cocoa and spice. At 40% it remains velvety, finishing with lingering smoke, leather, and a refined, sweet-earthy note.
Finish
Long and maritime, the finish binds Caol Ila’s smoke with brisk iodine and sea-salt brightness. Sherry echoes through the palate as raisin, dark chocolate and citrus peel drift across the tongue, tapering to warm oak and subtle spice that linger with a soft, smoky finish.
