The Old Bushmills Distillery was formally registered in 1784 by Hugh Anderson, making it one of the most historic names in Irish whiskey. Production is centred in the village of Bushmills, close to the River Bush, with the distillery long associated with triple-distilled Irish whiskey made from malted barley.
