Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with mahogany depth and coppery highlights.
Nose
Opulent and maritime, the nose offers dark fruit and sherry lifted by sea air. Dried cherry, fig and plum mingle with toasted almond, caramel and cocoa, under warm spice and polished oak. A coastal breeze of salt, vanilla and citrus zest threads through, hinting at 18 years in a single cask.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied on the palate, this 18-year-old Bunnahabhain offers dried figs, raisins and orange zest interlaced with toffee. Sherry richness brings cocoa, almond and spice, while a touch of maritime salt keeps it buoyant. Luxuriously persistent and warmly inviting across the tongue.
Finish
Long, velvety finish with Sherry-dark fruit that slowly unfolds into cocoa, toasted almond and spice. Rich plum and raisin linger, tempered by a citrus hint of orange and a subtle sea-breeze note, drifting into a warm, polished echo that lingers with quiet sophistication.
