Out of stock
The Infrequent Flyers range is a series of independent single cask bottlings from the Alistair Walker Whisky Company, created to showcase distinctive and often unusual casks from distilleries across Scotland. Each release highlights the unique character of an individual cask, with selections often coming from distilleries or cask types that are rarely seen as single malt releases.
Bottled in small batches or as single casks, Infrequent Flyers whiskies are typically presented without chill filtration or added colouring, often at natural cask strength, allowing the whisky’s full character and personality to shine through. The name itself reflects the rarity of these releases - whiskies that appear only occasionally, offering enthusiasts the chance to experience something a little different from the ordinary.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, dark amber with mahogany-tinged edges and a warm coppery glow.
Nose
Exotic spices mingle with peat, sweet tobacco and a touch of sea salt, a coastal, smoky bouquet that promises warmth and character.
Palate
Very interesting dram. Islay peat and phenols are present but superbly balanced, weaving with dark toffee, salted caramel, Demerara sugar and dry-roasted peanuts. A spicy, peppery note emerges toward the finish.
Finish
Long and warming, the finish fuses Islay peat with PX sweetness. Dark toffee and salted caramel fade into dried fruit, Demerara sugar and a peppery spice that lingers, ending with a faint maritime lift and a subtle, nutty edge.
