Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with a coppery glow and sunlit honey tones, edged by a subtle mahogany shimmer.
Nose
Grain-forward Bere barley greets the nose with sweet malt and creamy vanilla, then expands to sun-warmed cereals. Citrus zest and orchard fruit mingle with almond, honey and a subtle sherry sweetness. A coastal touch of sea spray and saline lift the bouquet, adding depth and a refined, provenance-driven elegance.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied with a creamy barley core. Dried apricot, fig and almond mingle with cocoa nib and gentle spice, lifted by a sherry kiss and a touch of maritime salt. Long, elegant and waxy on the finish, with warm barley sweetness and a refined mineral lift.
Finish
Elegant and long, the finish unfolds with maritime sweetness and nutty grain, hints of vanilla and dried fruit under refined oak spice. Bere barley lends a soft, cereal-creamy texture that lingers, carrying coastal salt, hazelnut, and cocoa, warming to a lasting amber glow. Subtle sherry depth adds weight, leaving a silky, refined aftertaste that slowly fades.
