Tasting Notes

Colour

Deep copper-amber with mahogany undertones and a warm, reddish glow.

Nose

Sea-salted peat and gentle smoke, brightened by citrus zest and vanilla. Sherry-cask depth brings fig and raisin, cocoa and toasted oak, with a briny, iodine-touched breeze of coastal Islay.

Palate

Assertive yet refined, this Bowmore opens with peat smoke and sea spray, balanced by rich sherry sweetness. Dark fruit—raisins and fig—meld with cocoa and orange zest, while hints of leather and toasted almond add depth. Velvet on the palate, with a soft spice and a lingering ember-dry finish.

Finish

Long, maritime finish with iodine-peat and ash, balanced by rich sherry sweetness. Dried fig, cocoa and orange zest emerge, then fade to a warm, spicy glow, leaving a final whisper of salt, smoke and lingering peat.
