Colour

Rich deep amber with mahogany edges and a coppery, sunset glow.

Nose

Coastal peat and iodine rise with polished oak and sherry-rich fruit. Bright lemon zest and honeyed apricot mingle with dark chocolate and salted caramel, while a gentle sea breeze keeps the smoke refined and maritime. Toasted almond adds a final, nutty polish.

Palate

Silky and opulent on the palate, this 21-year Bowmore combines velvet sherry sweetness with integrated peat. Deep dried fruits prune, fig, raisin meld with cocoa, vanilla and toasted oak, while a maritime smokiness threads through. Rich but balanced, the mouthfeel is warm and full, finishing long with smoke, espresso and a hint of citrus zest.

Finish

Long, refined and enveloping, the finish carries a velvet plume of peat and sherry, slowly fading into orange zest, dark chocolate and dried fruit. Sea-salt tang and tobacco emerge, with a lingering, warm ember of smoke that coats the palate.
