A classic in the Bowmore core range. The fifteen year old is matured in ex - Bourbon casks for twelve years and then spends its final three years in Oloroso Sherry casks. Always an accessible Islay Malt, the nose exudes raisin, stewed fruits, chocolate and a peaty smoky quality. The palate is smooth and supple with treacle and woody notes. The finish has Sherry, barley and subtle smoke.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery highlights and a mahogany edge, warm and sunlit in the glass.
Nose
Raisin and stewed fruits rise from the glass, entwined with dark chocolate and a gentle peaty smoke. A subtle oak warmth and sherried depth linger on the aroma.
Palate
Silky and supple on the palate, it pours treacle sweetness balanced by warm oak and dark fruit. Cocoa undertones mingle with refined spice, delivering a smooth, velvety mouthfeel that glides toward a restrained, lingering finish.
Finish
Sherry-laden sweetness lingers with toasted barley and a delicate, smoky whisper, fading to warm, refined notes.
