Black was first, then White Bowmore was second and now the third and final release is called Gold Bowmore. Matured for 44 years in Bourbon and Sherry casks some say this is even better than Black Bowmore. Very rare and very collectable.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, deep golden amber with warm honey and bronze undertones.
Nose
Silky maritime peat and sea-air meet warm vanilla and toasted oak. Sherry-cask notes bring raisin, fig, and orange zest, lightly salted with caramel. A refined smoke threads through, with cocoa and spice lingering in elegant, long-lasting depth.
Palate
Silky, oil-laden palate with caramelized orange, fig and prune, threaded by sherry sweetness and Bourbon vanilla. Peat smoke mingles with sea salt, graphite and a hint of espresso, deepened by cocoa. Rich and poised, the texture glides to a long, refined finish of smoke, dried fruit and toasted oak.
Finish
Long, refined finish that lingers with coastal peat, vanilla and caramel from the bourbon, then deepens into dried fruit and dark chocolate from the sherry. A kiss of oak spice and sea salt haunts the palate, fading into a suave warmth.
