Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with a warm copper glow and mahogany undertones.
Nose
Sea-salted peat smoke sweeps in with iodine and a touch of brine, then unfolds into rich sherry-derived fruit—figs, raisins, and cocoa—brightened by hints of orange zest and vanilla. A refined, lingering warmth coats the nose, promising depth beneath the smoke.
Palate
Silky and mid-weight, this Bowmore weds coastal peat with sherry sweetness. Creamy vanilla and toffee mingle with lemon zest and sea salt, while dark fruit—raisin and fig—adds depth. A touch of cocoa and toasted oak enriches the profile, and ember-smoked finish lingers with warm spice and a refined maritime glow.
Finish
Long and refined, the finish layers Bowmore’s signature peat with a maritime breeze, while sherry-derived sweetness threads through dried fig and plum. A touch of caramel and almond coats the palate, leaving a suave oak and mineral bite that lingers with sea-salt and a final kiss of smoke.
