Colour

Deep amber with coppery glow and rich mahogany undertones.

Nose

Coastal peat smoke rises with sea-salt air, bright citrus zest and honeyed barley. Sherry-matured depth anchors the aroma with dark plum, fig and cocoa, touched by vanilla oak and a whisper of iodine.

Palate

Velvety, full-bodied peat envelopes the palate, lifted by lush sherry sweetness. Briny sea spray and ash mingle with dark fruit—figs and raisins—plus cocoa and espresso. Spices bloom (cinnamon, clove) as a long, warming finish carries smoke and a touch of oak.

Finish

Long, coastal finish where brisk peat smoke fights through a cloak of sherry sweetness. Dried fig and orange zest mingle with caramel oak, while sea-salt and iodine keep it maritime. A velvety warmth lingers, spiced with cocoa and pepper, gradually fading to a refined, smoky echo that endures like a horizon over Bowmore’s cask.
